Meet Tawana Overton, DNP, FNP-BC

Tawana Overton, DNP, FNP-BC is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with over 20 years of healthcare experience and advanced training in medical weight loss, hormone optimization, and metabolic health. She earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice degree from the University of Minnesota School of Nursing and her Family Nurse Practitioner degree from Regis University in Denver, Colorado.

Tawana is a proud member of the Obesity Medicine Association, an organization of clinical leaders dedicated to advancing evidence-based prevention, treatment, and long-term management of obesity. Her approach to care is rooted in science, personalization, and a deep respect for the individual experience of every patient.

She has also completed advanced certification through WorldLink Medical, a premier clinical education academy focused on practical, evidence-based strategies for optimizing health. Through this training, Tawana provides bioidentical hormone replacement therapy (BHRT) using a comprehensive, individualized approach designed to support long-term vitality and performance.

In her free time, Tawana enjoys traveling and spending time with her friends and family.
