The injectable dose of Compounded Tirzepatide weight loss medication is slowly increased in 4-week time periods. A client is started on the lowest dose to make sure that the medication does not cause significant side effects. If a client is losing weight at a lower dose, an increase in dose is not always needed. Weight loss is not a one size fits all and can be tailored to meet individual needs.
Common side effects include: nausea and constipation which are easily managed with tips provided by our provider.
Weeks 1-4 dosing:
2.5mg injected into fat beneath the skin, once a week, on the same day of each week for 4 weeks or 1 month.
Prior to starting Compounded Tirzepatide weight loss medication initial blood work including a Complete blood count (CBC), Comprehensive metabolic panel (CMP), Lipid profile, and Thyroid profile will be obtained and evaluated unless blood work was performed in the last 6 months.
